Blimey, you live in Ireland, when the wind blows doesn't an arm with one LNB on wobble LOL?
Lol,people dont know the meaning of the word wind unless they come to Ireland.
We are lucky to get 10 days a year without wind.
I often thought about putting up my own wind turbine out the back
Motorised dishes arent really suited to our climate I'm afraid.
I used to work in the US for a few years ,almost no wind there all year round.
How do your wife knows that T90 is bigger than T85 or Gib 1m? Tell her that T90 performs worser than 1m Gibertini. Maybe she agrees to have T90.
I foolishly showed her a picture of someone elses setup and she went mad.
"Thats not going up on my house"
T90 would definitely be the best option.
Its mine too but its too impractical.
I had my Gibertini on the Easterly wall to shelter it from the winds and hide it from view.
Because the T90 sits on top of a pole instead of attaching to the middle ,means its unsuitable to go on that wall.It would be up too high.
1m Gibertini or T85 will sit on the existing T brackets and pole .
T90 would have to go on south wall ,meaning new Tk brackets have to be put on the dashed wall which is unacceptable to the missus.
Its also pretty exposed there .
Do you get any rain problems with the Inverto multi-connect lnb? I read elsewhere on this forum that they are no good when they get wet.
They wouldnt be of much use in Ireland so
T90 would definitely be the best option. The 1m Gib will out perform it for a few degrees around the central satellite, but across the range the T90 will be king. T85 not my cup of tea.
So the 1m Gib will outperform the T85 ,28e to 1w ?
