TPS AES updater for mgcamd

I begin to see why I have never been able to watch any of the TPS or Multi channels..
All the time I have - as 'instructed' in other fora - downloaded e.g. the s*tankeybundle.zip - unpacked it - and then ftp the tar.gz file to var/tmp on the DB..running gemini 3.0..
Then done a manual install from blue panel..

But after reading through this thread - I start realizing that the files in the kaybundle are not all where the are supposed to be..
E.g. the TPS Autoupdate file - I see that it should be in the plugin folder - but it is not..!?
I thought that the s*tan.tar.gz would distribute the files to the correct folders..? Or have a misunderstood something..? Should I really extract the tar.gz and distribute the 67 files myself - via DCC ftp - into the various folders..?

When you download a key file from a website unzip (or unrar) it to your pc.
It will create 2 folders: /keys and /scce

FTP the contents of /keys to var/keys and /scce to var/scce

I use the satan updater script (as I uploaded) to get my keys.

A file that was working last week may not work this week e.g. TPS key updater. The files that you need/ use will depend upon the emu that you use.

TPS_AES.txt will probably not be up to date in any key bundle so you may either need to create it from a program, use an updater or find one that has the keys for the next few days.

Can you receive TPS from your location hkhkhk ?

As far as I know there are no patches for the jhkhhkhkhkh receiver.

PS. Look at the post dates of this thread, it is a year old.

AFAIK tpsautoupdater.sh does not work now.

You can autoupdate tps now using mgcamd1.25 (or evocamd). Put the latest dreambox keys (keys and scce) in, go to a France or M6 channel on 13e, wait until it clears, then to the channel you want.

If it does not work, delete /keys/tps.au and try again.

Just out of interest: Why do you have to go to France or M6 channel, would it not work with going to one of the Multivision 1-7 channels?

I don't move my dish to 13e nowadays, keeping at 30w, for which there a very good au at present for cabo and d+ - no need for twice daily update any more. I digress, sorry !
