Transmitting channels over the net

My Location

Suppose I want to transmit 2 channels over the net via a server located some place else.

Is it possible to have 2+ tuners work at the same time in one pc and from the tunners the channels will get compress locally(server location) and off to the client's pc.

Or is there any other more advanced way of doing so?

Would appreciate any help
 
Not as advanced, but a good system is the Slingbox.... I have one set up and it works a treat:D Same principle though
 
Can it do more than one channel simultaneously ?
 
Maybe from several sources. The unit I have can only stream one source

take a look here it maybe of some interest
 
You would need a hellish meaty internet connection at each end to stream 2 slingboxes at the same time.
