Hmm. Shows QPSK in that grab. Maybe your program doesn't understand Transedit flags.

Thanks LP. I guess the INIs for one program aren't 100% compatible with the others.

Alas, they don't. The modulation parameters of Transedit include Pilot and Roll Off for DVB-S2. Here you see the difference for 23.5E, 11739V.

BF, the default "should" scan that fine. Problem is there is no complete list with pilot and roll-off included. Only way to get that info is by scanning the SI tables. Kind of chicken and egg. Need the correct data to scan the transponder. Can't scan the transponder without the data. Fortunately that is not true. Just takes a little longer to lock using the defaults.

Anyway data is from Lyngsat but neither pilot nor roll-off is listed on that site, nor any other by the look of it. Any idea where to download that?

This is only partly true. The actual parameters are transmitted in the BBHEADER. The Satellite Delivery System descriptor in the NIT shows the roll-off factor but not pilot. Some older DVB-S2 cards needed a correct pilot setting. Normally it's done automatically by the demodulator.

If it is not listed in the NIT and not listed in transponder lists how is anybody supposed to know the correct setting to enter in the ini file. What I did was pilot on for S2 transponders and 0.35 roll-off. Without a complete source of transponder data I can't see what else can be done.
