Again chances are it wont affect anyone on the forum but its useful to flag this stuff up just in case:


Feeds from thousands of Trendnet home security cameras have been breached, allowing any web user to access live footage without needing a password.

Internet addresses which link to the video streams have been posted to a variety of popular messageboard sites.

From memory, it's not just the Trendnet device either, there was one ( Logitech) with a password logout issue last year, and one using an Adobe access

It's a good job I don't like webcams... :D

Especially the sort built into laptop screens, I hate the idea of those, you never know if someone has switched it on and is spying on you....... ({})

I with you, I have a bit of insulating tape over mine since I never use it anyway. It does have a bright blue LED next to it that comes on when activated but who knows if it's possible to bypass that within the software. OK, I realise I sound quite paranoid too as even if it go hacked I'm not sure how long anyone would want to stare at my ugly face...
