Trick or treat

I have 400 bags of potato chips that will only make it to 7pm in my area.

Havent had any grubby brats demanding sweeties in the 20 years we have lived here :D

Even the JW's seem to have given up on us :-lmao

Living away from the village and having no near neighbours means that we've never had "trick or treaters" in fifteen years. Shame really, as if I was asked trick or treat, I'd shout 'trick' and squirt them with a super soaker....

Never had any of them either Martin...It's not something the French seem to do door to door. They'd probably run when I set the dogs on them anyway....

Here Trick or Treat is an extension of penny for the guy, and if you give money to one a whole pile will sneak up.

Lucky none this year!

They never call here cos I just poke them in the eye with a burnt stick, it is a load of American tosh that we idiots have adopted, just an excuse for a fancy dress party for many adults and the kids to get face painted. And you think Pete is grumpy????????????

I guess being out in the sticks protects the kids from getting bitten by a dog and soaked then, lets hope you don't move closer to a village :-rofl2.

ets hope you don't move closer to a village

I'm actually 2km from the village, however it's only 250 population and the majority of it's residents are aged 70+, so little chance of trick or treating or carol singing unless they arrive on zimmer frames. When we drove through on Thursday at 11 pm the street lights (all six of them) had been turned off...
