is it possible to activate a tring card using cccam and newcs? i've been trying but im not having any joy? saw it mentioned some were you could do it with mgcam and newcs, can anyone shed some light on this?
 
I have seen many posts saying you need a conax cam (or receiver with embedded conax) to activate.

Once activated newcs might keep it updated each month, but there is conflicting information on this.
 
I believe it needs the receiver to activate it. I hope it's the Tring PLUS card if you got it for football. If not then there's no 3pm games ! Just thought I'd mention it.
 
been assured it has 3pm KO's, bought as part of a package, tring and dm500, the card was advertised with 3pm KO's, i know you can activate with conax, but that means i would have to buy a new reciever so whats the point selling them with a dm500, really p@* off about this, theres a tring sat ready image kicking about but it still dos'nt activate the card.

I wouldnt hold your breath for the whole 380 games live on tring plus .... our favourite albanian pulled the same stunt last year with Digialb
 
yes i plan on doing that, i'll give it one more go later this evening

im told it should actvate on the tring super channel but its not happening, others say it will only activate with a conax cam or reciever, all i know is the EPL is fast aproaching)(-red
 
Did you get this sorted out in the end? My card arrived today and will not activate in my Technomate 1500 with embedded Conax reader. My Digitalb card has always been fine with the embedded Conax. Have just ordered a Conax cam to be delivered tomorrow to try that.
 
I have activated four cards today all in tm 5400 super embedded conax no probs, but had to activate my dm800 card first in a tm 5400 then it run fine with ccCam2.1.4 +newscs 1.67 leave the card on tring sport news for a few minutes

got the supplier to activate my card, now i hear tring are going to send out activation for the 3pm kick offs every satarday, any truth in this?
 
Got an email from Darkman: there are fake tring cards around, which might explain some of the activation problems.
 
had to activate tring plus using conax cam and can view using nabilo image 10 on 7025 newcs217 cccam 212 because thats all that is available on the blue button
