After leaving my boyfriend alone for two minutes with the new Fortec Star FS-4000v2 box we seem to have a million channels none of which we want. Ideally I want BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV, Channel 4 to be channel 1, 2, 3, 4, similar to freeview, is this ever going to happen?
I have read in some posts that it will pick up the location for you automatically although this doesn't seem to of happened and we have had to go through and connect to different satelites.
Can anyone advise what i'm doing wrong?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Apart from setting favourites, only a dedicated freesat receiver will give you those channels in any kind of order. Assume you have reception of the above channels and the rest on 28e?

Setting favourites is certainly the easiest way, but most receivers will let you move channels up and down the channel list, time consuming, but does make life easier.
