..or simply I am too far out of footprint..

Indeed you are outside the satellite footprint. For those within the footprint, there are not reception problems. You don't even need to adjust elevation to catch the signal.I have monitored this position, day/night, and signal fluctuation is not so much although the satellite is slightly inclined.
At the time when I post this message, the signal is about 6 dB with 1.5 m dish.

Offset lnb rigged on the 1.1m 46E dish.

Absolutely zip on any of the listed frequencies from IS5, Galaxy 26 & Turksat 4.....

Ah well to be honest thats what I was expecting

Strong signals at 12343V and 12377V

Laid up in bed again, so may as well have a dekko.

12343 came in no problem on a Blind Scan (S90/Q71)

It's v.strong, so I'll pop the other TP in manually.

Edit: 12377 is dead here - presumably just gone off air?

Anyhow, it's nice to be able finally to join you in the Eastern Arc after the Chainsaw Marathon.

FWIW G ..
12377 still showing an 8psk carrier and approx 9.2db ..but no lock here either..

..but of course ..Carl is awful close to the point where he partially hides behind the wall ..
Gonna try on Tom in a minute ..
will report back..

Hmm. How weird! One is blasting in and t'other is comme un dodo.

Thanks both.

Try moving the dish G, I can move the dish a long way 8 clicks are so and maintain the same signal level,

If i view the channel normal I get teletext quick zapping I don't strange.

No, SR's are correct. First thing I checked (and triple-checked!)

I'll have a play tomorrow as the gout pain is making me feel very nauseous, sadly.

TTFN

As suspected G ..
Tom is receiving 12377V with a solid lock at 13db ..
So the TD110 outperforming the partially masked 1.5 ...
So You should have no problems with _your_ TD110 ...
rgds
VS

In actual fact 12343 is weaker ..only locking at 12.4 db on Tom...
but then it IS QPSK ...12377 is 8PSK ..so needs more signal..

corrected to avoid confusion
;)

As my last defiant act before deferring to the Sandman, I've trimmed Az a long way either way and there isn't a sniff.

So as the Frequencies are similar, SR is correct, Polarities are both V, then the suspects are Interference or one of those inexplicable LNB incompatibilities.

But that really is my lot for tonight - the old eyelids are attempting to travel south.

PS VS: I hope you meant 12377, not 12733 .................... !!

8PSK, 9/10 requires a higher SNR

Very annoying.I am still getting nothing on this.It must have gone back behind the tree.
My friends Dishpointer app shows it just on the edge of a large conifer.
