Confirmed - not a dicky bird off 50E on blind scan

Check here as well nothing maybe changing over to DTH service Sunday night?

No wonder the signals were switched off, since today Turksat 4A is on its way to 42° East!
As usual the first TLE after a manoeuvre is unreliable, but as it looks now it will take about 2 weeks.

A probably better prediction for the arrival at 42° East, based on this afternoon's TLE, is 14 June.

Hmm what can I repurpose the 50E lnb for now ?:D

Instead of saying the obvious "M" thing, this time I'll say, use it for 39E, it's missing in your signature!

39E is already in the system - I just havent updated my sig for months! :D

Its the 4th lnb on the 46E dish :)

(Sig now updated )

will be ready to start 16 june

Not exactly.

According to Turkish media (TRT) , the migration of transponders to the new Turksat 4 , is scheduled for July 14 , the day (night) following the end of the World Cup (probably they don't want to cause any potential problem to the football viewers).
There is also an unofficial info that , the broadcasts in the band range of 12,150 to 12,500 MHz and also of the Ka band transponders , is expected to start much earlier , probably with the arrival of Turksat 4A at 42 East .

Looks likely to be a bit boring for exotica ...
Ka footprint may possibly reach the UK ...but data only..
and the C band footprint centred over Africa ..

Hoping I'm wrong though..
and here was me hoping for something exciting when she begins service..
