yes ,the 6-A is coming soon... is that also on 30.9E?Like the 5-A?
but,what about the 5-A??
because,as for now,turkish public tv is only on 42E,which is difficult for us,as the usual configuration of urban space means 42 is always behind something,wha=en the 1w to 30 E is "open"
I thought 5-A was due to replace what we had on 7E (which was really convenient)

According the footprints above, 6A will be at 42°E.

31°E to become some kind of backup position for TRT broadcasting must have been wishful thinking.
This position only carries data and some video feeds.

Having a well separated slot like 7°E as well to see Turkish TV, indeed was a convenience few nations have, but it's over now.
42°E is above horizon all over Europe and are covered well by the West beams.

geographically a stupid chice... or they want to cover Russia? the "turkik " places along the Silk road maybe...
Too bad,as there was a trt-2 which was really interesting!
And the TRT in English is a total waste,they cover anything BUT turkey...yesterday news from cnn or reuters,nothing about... Turkey,Türkei or Türkyyyyiiieee!!
