About a year and a half ago, I bought a 60cm satellite dish kit on eBay for around £25 - it included the dish, LNB, bracket/cables and a very basic SD receiver. It's been sitting on top of my wardrobe gathering dist since, as I instead decided my motorise my 80cm dish.
I've now been thinking about setting up this dish for my parents. Coming from a Turkish family, they would be very happy to receive the Turkish channels available on Turksat and currently watch them through the internet (mainly TRT 1, TV8 & Show) The problem they have with this though is the stream can buffer quite a bit when a popular programme is on.
I was just wondering whether Turksat 42.0E is capable of being picked up strong enough by a 60cm dish or is it one of those satellites that really needs an 80cm or over for it to be continuously stable?
