It was confirmed Friday that November's inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will begin at 5pm, two hours later than originally scheduled. The new start time means the race will get underway at dusk and will reach its conclusion in the dark, with floodlights illuminating the cars to the finish line. ?Yas Marina Circuit has been built from the outset to host day and night-time activities,? said Richard Cregan, CEO of race organisers, Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management. ?Staging Formula One's first ever day/night race offers us the unique opportunity to demonstrate the circuit's inbuilt flexibility and state-of-the-art facilities.
