Two fixed LNBs (19.2E and 28.2E) on one dish.

Correct, I am in Spain and aware that pointing at 28.2E would be the logical way to go as this would be the weaker signal and I would want this bang centre on the dish; trouble is I'm not even sure if I can "see" 28.2E from my garden (long story short, I'm aiming at a gap between my building and a neighbouring one and I can barely get 19.2E; 28.2E would be very fortunate).

But... Why have you gone to the trouble to buy an offset bracket to get 28E and 19E on, if there's only a very slim chance that you have a view of 28e anyway?

Having 28E on the offset will not make your view of the sat any better than it would be at the focus.

Well, I have a second house in Huelva, southwestern Spain, where I *do* have awesome visibility of any satellite I can think of. I bought the bracket in case I could get 28.2e here in Madrid, and if not, down to Huelva it goes, along with a new dish

28E on the left and 19E on the right.

Also, the 28E LNB should be slightly higher than the 19E one (which "reflects" to a lower effective elevation.

How close does the 19.2 lnb need to be? is there a set measurement or trial and error?

Too many variables involved to be able to say (focal length of dish/arm, lnb design etc). trial and error will be the best method
