Hi,
I am new to this , I am installing sat receivers for international free view channels.
Now I have a UBI box, this is for paid channels. We used to watch free view channels from this box, but now it has been blocked all free view channels from UBI boxex. I can only view paid channels but not free internationals channels.

Is it possible to download software to this box or what ever , in order to view free channels comming from sattelite.

Much appreciate your help and comments

Thank you

Well we are going to need more details about the stb, for example is it set up for card sharing? do you pay a subscription?
I personally think you would be better joining a forum on your side of the earth as I have certainly never heard of this stb and hence can only guess what it is and how it works

This is subscribe decoder, Im am gettting paid channels, But some free view channels from OPtus D2 is not getting . If I used free view box I can get those free channels such as Arabic channels, press TV, NHK tv, Russia Today etc.
I want to use one box for all those channela, other vise, I hhave to use two boxes, for those one for paid channels and other box for free view.

More often than not stb's obtained through a subscription are nobbled to limit channels that can be received. Are you on a multisat setup i.e. receiving from more than one satellite? if so how are the other sats received? do you have multi lnb's or a motorised suystem, you are not giving sufficient technical detail to be able to understand your problem and hence possibly provide a solution DIY installer does not assist in this process.

this is not multisat.

there are free channels and paid channels from optus D2,
I can get paid channels but I cannot get free channels.
If I want to get free channels I want to use free view box.
My question is can I view all paid and free channels from one box.
If I use two boxs I can get all those channels.

Is it posssible to set up one my paid box to get free channels as well.l.

As I have already stated if it has been nobbled by a firmware upgrade then I suspect not. A firmware upgrade seems to be the only way they could stop you receiving FTA channels, but have you actually tried scanning for them using details in the link below?

Is it spossible to get firmware upgrade through internet.
"Lyng sat " does not give any firmware upgrade

If it's a dedicated box, it will almost certainly upgrade its software automatically and you doing anything to it will possibly mean the loss of your subscription channels. Have you not contacted the provider to ask them why you can't see the FTA channels any more?
