There is a new Ukrainian service on 12130V - STB is the channel name.

Oh sorry, yup its 5E - I cant get 4W here, so tend to forget about that one

UA: Pershiy (public broadcaster first channel) has also appeared on 4.8°E on the same frequency in the past couple of days. Another one that had been 4°W only before.

There’s Current Time on 11747V now too, which presumably is a Ukrainian version of the Russian-language RFE/VOA channel with the same name on 13°E.

Ive just read a report that Ukraine 24 translated into English is available on 5E 11938V. 27500 This is on the Nordic neam so may be problematic for many folks. Shame they havent replicated this on the easier to get European beam service.

I can confirm this, broken pictures on 1.2m here, weaker than other Nordic beam transponders. There are English, Russian, Lithuanian & Ukraine audio channels on this version of Ukraine 24.

I can only get 1 5E Nordic beam tp here at the moment. Of course it has to be the one with the religious guff channels on it!

I get that one on a Zone 2. There never was much FTA on the Nordic beam, which is a shame as it's one of the few beams that's an easier catch for us in the north.

The SES 5 Nordic transponders were noticeably stronger than the Astra 4A ones, but there's nothing on that beam now.

First decent & reasonably warm weekend of the year so I did some maintenance on the dish containing the 5E lnb. I guess I should not be surprised the dish had moved slightly seeing how strong the gales have been over the winter. Even with support struts attached to the lnb arms to dampen the movement the bloody dishes get such a battering here its a constant battle to keep them aligned. Ive also started swapping out some of the older lnbs for new ones (a tenner from Amazon type!)

Ive now managed to get most of the 5E signals up to 13-14db / 97% so things are good until the next gale strikes!

I think I might have to replace the dish currently on the motor with something a little larger. Locally, an aid truck with donations (plus at least one minibus) is setting off for the Polish border tomorrow morning. They hope to bring back at least 8 Ukrainian refugees. We've put our names down to host a couple (if needed) and it would be nice to offer them 'home' TV. SWMBO's grandparents were from Kiev and Lviv so it means a lot to her.

More fta additions on 13E:

11219H 29900

Dorama
VIP Commedy
A Premier
NatGeoWild HD (not in HD!)
