Unable to resolve hostname

My Satellite Setup
Dreambox DM500-s
My Location
egypt
When I open the addon menu and try to download one, it says "Unable to resolve hostname" I've been googling the issue for ages but to no avail also, when I go to communication set-up and run a test it says "network setup is not ok"..My dreambox 500S is connected to a router using cat-5 cable, my pc is also connected to the very same router. I hope I've covered all the required details to help me resolve this issue.
Any help would be appretiated.

Got the same problem , yesterday i went to addons and i get Unable

to resolve host! error

also i made short "Ping_userscript.sh" ping -c 3 google.com

and i found out am successfully connected to internet

it was solved by itself this morning but i still seek any reason that

cause such trouble.

what do you mean by "also i made short "Ping_userscript.sh" ping -c 3 google.com" ?
 
Make sure you have a valid nameserver configured in the DB's network setup. Many times the router can act as the name server, but not always. You could always use one of OpenDNS' servers, 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220. If you still get the error it would seem the networking is misconfigured...
