Please excuse if this is a stupid question.. (just took delivery of a Diablo & cas3 so early days), but I just downloaded a underworld151.dup file.. if I update the cam will this also update the .bin file or do I need to look for this as well
 
Thanks got that..updated the cam ok but I am obviously missing something cause all I get is 2 messages i.e. “reading smart card” followed by a “Scrambled signal” ?
Read a thread and as recommended -under cas I have all irdeto, viaaccess set to on, in configeration I have set caids file to caids, emulators on, N2 au on, & cw off?
Any help much appreciated..
 
For s_x View you might also have to update the Diablo keys bin file, you should find an updated one in the same place you found the Underworld file.
Try removing and re-inserting your Cam or re-booting your receiver.
Which channels are you trying to open?
 
What sats are tuning into?

Tried a reboot & removing and re-inserting the cam but no joy..going looking for a .bin file ..will report back,

Why you looking for a bin file......should be a key file!
 
You should open Free X without replacing the keys.bin file, once you see the keys are expired message leave it on that channel and the keys should auto update in a few minutes.
For s_x View I have uploaded a new keys bin file on sendspace:

It's very easy, and quick, to overwrite the old one.
Download the new keys bin file to your desktop.
Insert you Cam into your Cas 3 and start up the Cas Studio software.
Start up the Diablo software.
Click on the Can File System tab, and Connect.
You should now see all the Diablo Cam files in the right hand pane.
Locate the new keys.bin file in the bottom left hand pane, highlight it and click the green arrow pointing right.
Click yes to Overwrite.
Exit the software and replace your cam in your receiver.

Getting a "No Signal or PMT not found & update file CAIDS.XML" message..
When I connect the cam in the Cas studio & on lookong in the CONFIG/CAIDS/ section I see a CAIDS.XML file can you tell me if I should update this - I assumed if it needed updating it would happen with the loading of underworld.151? I downloaded a CAIDS.XML file with the last .bin (before the one from your good self)..it is a 1kb file .the one already on the cam is shown on the CAS menu as Size 1486 ??
 
You should be getting the Keys are Expired message, are you sure the channels are scanned in correctly?
Try deleting them and scanning them in again.

OK, just set the Echostar to rescan 13°E - noticed the signal had dropped quite a bit, the dish is in an exposed area & it is stormy night so might be the problem.
Anyways, give me time to cool my fustration & go for a cold one...! Thanks.
 
Re-scanned, but no progress, when the wind stops howling (& daylight) i'll check the dish & see if that is the problem.
 
Sorted..with a reset of the dish & a rescan. Thanks again !!
