Can anyone identify this LNB?

I assume its rather old and was connected to a 60cm mesh dish.


Is it a uni? Or will I need a single custom osc. setting :) - and if so what channels will able to receive? From a DVB-S pc card.

Cannot see the print on the LNb label but at a guess a single osc of 9.75GHz

This is the first forum where they actively imply you to use the attachment system rather than host else where...

I will try some photoshop trickery because the label is in that terrible state.

using a UV lightsource its clear that its a LO 9.75Ghz- thanks a bunch!!! :)

What will this pick up tuned to Astra 2A-B-D, eurobrid 1?

LO 9.75GHz as stated.

Cheap as chips to get a new universal 9.75GHz/10.6Ghz giving you access to low & high bands.

This is Cambridge universal lnb type AE6 with low lo-9.75 and high lo-10.6
I remember that noise is 0.8 or 0.9db. I remeber that I was used this lnb type around 1998-1999. It is a offset lnb. Can be use also today if is in working condition but noise is high. This one that you post in your photo Is used one and problably around 10 years old.

Enhanced LNb LO 9.75GHz used before 98.

Think yellow cap were universal.
 
Ive got a few of those lying around in my junk box :D Wonder if I'll ever find another use for them??

Useless for digital as it wont tune above 11700khz :D
 
Ahh thanks alot people.

I had always wondered what on earth this LNB was doing pointing 19.2e redundant on my dish :).
