Up Coming Launch Eutelsat 21B

So 21B has been broadcasting for almost a week now, was just wondering what verdict we all have, is reception any better? For me personally it's been a big let-down, a few of the channels are a little stronger than before, but most are around the same, and some have dropped out completely, i've actually got a lower channel count from 21B than i did from 21A! Personally i'd say bring back the old sat!
 
There have been some frequency changes. I get 15 channels now as against 13 before but two of them are new encrypted ones Channel 9 and Setanta Euro Asia on 10982. One of the channels is called MBC MASR FEED Main on 11673 V 3214 but it seem to be permanently there. Strongest is still Yemen Today at about 12.5 dB. If this is how it's going to be then my overall verdict is not much change. But then there is nothing much to watch there for English speakers except for the curiosity value.

Yup - almost certainly going to replace the dilapidated & heavily inclined Hottie 2 / 48A

From the Eutelsat website:

EUTELSAT 21A (ex. W6)

Following the entry into service of EUTELSAT 21B, EUTELSAT 21A is being redeployed to 48° East where it will continue to provide full commercial service.


Hottie 2 will become the third of the Hotbirds to be retired - 1 & 3 having already been binned :(
 
I had a go for Yemen whilst it was reasonably clear last night - no sign of any signal whatsoever (1m dish with main focus on 16E - adjusting the offset 23.5E lnb)
 
Cant receive anything on the portable 60cm and only getting yemen today and another fta. Bit disappointing really.
