Updating card, problems

I got a Sky sub but my card doesn't work anymore as i use it in a Linux receiver, been running 6 or 7 months nicely.

Last time i just put it back in the Sky receiver and 2 hours later it was updated and working again.

Now the same thing happened "Call to upgrade bla bla bla" but i have had it for now 24hrs in the Sky box and nothing is happening.

How often do they send a keep alive signal to the cards? should it take this long?

It can take 48 hrs + although its normally faster.

It normally happens overnight, you may need to do a forced software update on the digibox as well, as the software will also be six months out of date.
