Upper band Ka reception

There's a new feed on 7E at present VS. Was blue screen, now a pic.

Did manage to lock it in (blue screen) 8.2db

btw ..an early heads up un anything at 4.9 would be useful ..as I have nothing to realign the vbox with now TFM has left..
I could swap out the lnb again for a Ka ..but spent so much time peaking ..I'd rather not.

Makes sense VS. Seemed to be a foyer or similar, maybe at the court.

Empty scan on 4.9E here, maybe there'll be a feed or two later. I'll check later today.
 
VS, have you seen this one before on 16E?

21538H SR 1054 FEC 3/4

Can't find Cam News on 21537H, maybe replaced with this? Different SR.

Never in my wildest dreams ..
I'd have trouble even with a quality 1.8mtr
Unless of course the footprint changes appreciably ..which we know it can do in Ka..
I'll keep an eye on this.

Yes, comes out as Tandberg Service, black screen. SR6111 suggests a feed, no PID info in TS Reader.

Looks like you're spot on 4.9E VS :)

Happy now I've logged 4.9E in again ..and no lnb swapping ..

PIDS are there, video and audio. Can't hear anything though.

..That's one of the reasons I added extra support to Carls lnb arm Llew ..
Nice to accurately carry that extra weight ..
No swapping lnbs for me ..
I like to be able to just move the dish and check from the comfort of my chair..
Time you got all your lnbs on one dish perhaps ??
Ladders ain't yer friend ..as you well know..

Here's interestin'
Just checked the opposite polarity on the SL3 ..
Same band opposite polarity to Ocko ..
Found an extra peak ..which looks to have inteligable data ..
Identifies as SisMCUK Newsnet ..
another horsey feed ??
Nothing on screen atm ..but maybe worth checking in occasionally ...??

That looks interesting. If it wasn't so late, I could put the Norsat LNB with my DIY feed on my Triax TD88 to test that out.
May be gone by tomorrow though.

Currently trying to blind scan it into the F15 ..so I can do occasional quick checks ..
I have to blind scan ..because I can't use the scale correctly ..it's reversed.

Crikey, yes I remember you have a problem there. A hiccup though in relation to the setup you have now.

Still checking that 4.9E feed. Odd that the blank screen is still there, not sure what it's meant for, there's no encryption PID /flag present.

Well ..the F15 draws a blank ..
Sure it 'sees' the peak during the blind scan ..but refuses lock..
??
I can only conclude it's non standard DVBS ...that only the TBS card can get at..
doh!
