Ok, I hope this is not a silly question????

I live in a flat in slough where we are not allowed to have a dish outside, I have used acorn (57 cm) dish to get hotbird, but in order to get any channels I have to lave the window open, if I close the window, I would loose signal. Is there anything I can you to get hotbird, through the glass??? It is a large window, but split in two, so one side opens and the other is fixed. The window I can use is south facing, so not too many problems here.

Can anyone help as I am getting bored with the rubbish on UK tv...

Hi, It is not always possible to get a signal though glass, some have special coatings on them. you could try a bigger dish I suppose, or replace the glass with normal glass.

Do you have a balcony?
