Us tv & Sky HD

Hi Guys, would anyone know if a HD ready tv from the US, work with Sky HD via the HDMI cable?
As I understand it, this is a digital connection and therefore should not be an issue with the differing broadcast standards, is this a correct assumption?

Should be fine, as you say, it is a digital input onto what is effectively a monitor.

Still worth waiting for other replies though, as I'm not really in to that side of the hobby. :)
