My Satellite Setup
Dreambox 7020, HH120 Discq notor with Triax 1.1m
Does anyone know if it is possible to have two receivers that use GotoX and USALS connected to the same motor/dish working using a manual A-B switch box?

I have never been able to get GotoX on the Dreambox (Gemini image) to work and it may be my setup. I am thinking of replacing it so I can get it to work

What would be the best recommedation for a 1.1m dish (old Trixa currently but posts on here and others seem to favour Hirshmann, visiosat) and what motor (should this be H-H , if so what's best, or should I go for a 36V one for speed).

Advise would be apreciated as I cam currently tearing out what little hair I have left.

Yes it will work. I don't have an A-B switch, but I often put a different receiver on my dish for setting up.

I wouldn't bother changing the Triax since you already have it, the performance is good, unless you want to go larger.

Motor wise I have fitted the Moteck sg2100, the TM2200, the Dark motor and a STAB. They'e all seem pretty much of the same really, apart from the Stab that waggled about a lot.

Its your choice if you want to go 36V, I don't think there is any real need for it for a 1m dish, unless its ultra exposed., or you are really impatient.
 
yes it does work i use this system my self. ie a-b switch
 
Thanks for the quick replies.

My Manhattan motor has been playing up so I will replace that and then try again with the GotoX function on both receivers.
