A device like the one you're looking for doesn't have to be the fastest, but it's more important if it finds more transponders, if possible, all the ones you're interested in. In addition to these things, it must also find and lock the last parameters used at the current time (MIS, S2X, etc.)
To receive the dvb-s2 signal, I would recommend the USB 5927 tuner (the best in this class of devices), and for USB S2X, I don't know what to say because I haven't tested any.
