I'm sick and tired of Sky digital, so I am switching to Virgin Media.

However, since I come from Belgium, I want to use my existing dish to connect to Astra and get European Channels. I have an old analogue receiver, however, the selection of analogue Astra channels is woeful.

So I want to know if it is possible to use my sky digital box to connect to Astra and watch the huge amount of digital channels.

Thanks for any help.

Forget using the digibox for watching other satellites, it is badly hobbled and can only receive a small section of the channels, due to limited symbol rates.

Well at least you should get a good deal on a move to Virgin, as the trend seems to be in the other direction.;)
