Is it possible to obtain a Sky subscription through another person? Buy another digibox and a subscription though the Multiroom plan?

If you mean the reduced subscription for a second card in a house that has a first card in another room then the answer is no.

One of the conditions for the educed subscription is that both boxes have to be plugged into the telephone line to stop people doing just what you want to do!

You might get away with it for a month or two but eventually they will become very insistant that both boxes are plugged into the phone line or pay the full price.

The digiboxes are not invoked to call Sky though, they do it themselves for PPV purposes only. Or I'm wrong?
 
I'm only going on information I have read but I understand that both boxes have to telephone in (on the same line) on a semi-regular basis to $ly.

This is in addition to any PPV purchases you might make.
