viasat card on azbox

Hi all!

I am trying to pair my official Viasat Ukraine card. the box recognises the card as Nds but I cannot figure out my box key the box number is only 16 digits instead or 11 digits or 17 hex. What should I do? Any help is much appreciated . I have Azbox Premium and run the latest firmware 4890 and latest multicas b7
 
Is it an n*s 2 or new 3 card. I know they are a bitch to set up.
Edit.....Just found out that your card is the new n*s 3 one.
To get boxkey remove 1st and last numbers, you will be left with 9 numbers.
You need to convert to Hex in windows calculator in advance mode. When you convert to hex you will have 7 digits. Put an 0 in front of these numbers and you have your boxkey. Insert this in the newcs.xml file. It will work now.
 
Thanks John, but the problem is I have a 16 digit box number and if you take the first and the last digit off you and conver to hex you get 12 digits instead of 7. I am really stuck with this box... Any other ideas how to get that box key?

I had a Viasat Ukraina card 1yr ago too. I have a Dreambox 7000 (and now yet one 8000HD).
I couldn't get the card working either, so shipped back Strong7700 with card to my inlaws.
End of this week (6-8 Jan 2011) I will again receive this Viasat Ukraine card for testing in my new DB8000.

Any news about this box key problem? I had the same problem on my first try.
 
Yesterday again put Viasat card in Dreambox 7000.
And it worked. Cccam gives all info about the card (NDS), and my local share tot my second receiver (DB8000) works too!

Boxkey should be made like this:
- on sticker on Strong (or in setup screen of SRT7700) is serial type "12345 1234567890 1"
- remove first 5 digits and last 1 digit (thus results in "1234567890")
- HEX this 10-digit number
- should result in 8-digit hex boxkey (if only 7, add "0" as first digit)

Hello,
Is any news about viasat ukraine 0931 card?
I khow it works in some servers, i watched it on my tv.
 
Have you tried using a Omnikey to read the card?

I have my Viasat Latvia / Lithuania card working in my Vu Duo
