viasat picture problem

i have just had viasat installed and wen i put the premier football on the picture is very bright and cant make the players our the shirt numbers out
the other channels our perfect apart from these ones .can any 1 help please
 
Please be patient. This is a voluntary hobby Forum and people with the knowledge you seek are not necessarily permanently "on call"
 
I've advised you once already about how this Forum works - if you persist in making this a life or death issue, the answer may never be forthcoming.

No idea bud - the Viasat signals are so poor here I rarely bother with them.

No please remember everyone on the forum is a volunteer, no-one gets paid and many folk have better things to do with their lives than spend every waking moment on here.

It may seem important to you but at the end of the day its only football

Give it a week or so before posting on this topic again.

The obvious thing to try first is to reseat all the cables
 
And, of course,ask your Installer.

A key element of any professional installation is to ensure the customer is satisfied.

Are you using the official viasat receiver, can you switch the language to english, I believe you can on canal digital 1west receivers and check to see if there is any setting relating to contrast/brightness and a low/medium/high setting.

On your tv I presume an lcd you can check and alter to suit your taste

brightness
contrast
backlight

and check which picture mode your tv is in sounds like a vivid setting where the colours are very bright.
 
No offense meant, but as this posting clearly is about Viasat picture quality, and not pictures of a set-up, can one of ye all-powerful ones please move this thread to something like Viasat thread (or possibly fringe reception)?

...and then delete this posting :)
