Been flicking through channels on Hot Bird just now and found a Vietnamese channel VTV4...with news being broadcast in Russian! The cute presenter certainly didn't look Russian and spoke the language with some accent but...why would they broadcast in Russian? Is the Russian speaking population really that widespread over there?
Some children's program afterwards is now on in native Vietnamese.
