Viewing TS Movie Files On Computer

My Satellite Setup
Azbox premium HD+,Dusty Dreambox 7000s,& Sky HD.
My Location
Dublin....Ireland
Have been transfering ts files from Dreambox to DVD for a while now, with great success. But would like to know can you watch the ts file after ftp ing from dreambox to computer without having to demux etc.

VLC will play it "as is" provided that you remove any special characters from the file name. You did mean watching on your PC?

just change the extension from .ts to .mpg
works with most files.....

Thanks for the reply`s, Jta got 1 file working with win dvd but the other would not work maybe I have to demux it 1st. Would not work with Windows media player as no sound was been heard but picture ok.
Thanks Mark as well but cant seem to get vlc to work on my laptop.
Anyway something to work with. Now my DVR studio pro wont work now.
Isnt there always something.
