Following months of speculation, it was announced on Thursday night that the Virgin brand's Formula One project will be officially confirmed in London next week. Virgin Racing, which will be one of four new teams to join the grid in 2010, will be launched at an event in Notting Hill on Tuesday. Acknowledged in the event's invitation as being the 'best worst kept secret' in motor racing, Virgin have long been rumoured to have signed an agreement with Manor GP, which was one of the incoming teams to be awarded championship entry by the FIA back in June. Following their title sponsorship deal, Manor GP will be rebranded as Virgin.
