I had an email telling me I have been upgraded but I need a new modem to get the best speeds. £20 if they fit or £4-99 if I fit it. Just done an Ookla speed test and see if the new modem is better when it arrives next week.

Maybe you will get 200Mb with a new modem but your current speed 160Mb + looks good enough.

Frankly, with that speed already I wouldn't bother. Not even for £4.99!

Beats my rural 3mb ( 2.7 /0,3 ) adsl+ copper wire broadband:D

2.52 Mb/s 0.23 Mb/s 16 ms

Concentrate on your bucket list and good luck:-ohcrap

Regards

Jeeeezzz Why would you need anything faster then what you have now??

I wish I could get something that fast.

This is the best we can get out here in the boonies, we have a microwave link to the ISP, but the best thing is we don't have bandwidth limits, I can download terabytes of data.

No bandwidth limits. Her indoors watches something on TV whilst her computer is doing live broadcasts of something else. Heavens knows why she needs both.

£4.99 is not much and it has gigaports. Plus you can use the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless at the same time. Virgin tell me it will resolve the stop/start in Netflix.

I think you have to post your URL result as an image. Not really sure.

Anyway, have converted all into images for everyone.

You already got speed to run half the Pentagon :O)

Am happy with 10\1 although will upgrade someday to get more upload (for example to use cloud for backup).

You're lucky, I upgraded (at no cost) from 150 to 200 and my once 85Mb/s has dropped to a max of 75Mb/s and as it is at the moment, 23Mb/s, upload is similar to yours though. They have admitted to having contention problems on my node and are ugrading, so have given me a monthly discount until it's fixed.

I downgraded mine to the bottom package in the end, couldn't see the point of paying for 100Mb when i wasn't using it. I'm apparently being upgraded to 70Mb in April, although this will probably change again as the first time i was advised of the upgrade it said it would happen in November 2015 :-lmao
