Advice Needed Visiosat Big Bisat dish?

Had an automated email on Sunday after I placed the order. Got the email in German that my dish was about to leave with ups last Thursday. Its now Wednesday 28th and still no delivery.
 
No tracking number.

UPS van turned up but false alarm, thought my dish had arrived but no, he was just reversing the van to exit the street.

Aargh! That's annoying.

Maybe he does have it and was toying with you? ;)
 
I have sent a message to my credit card company to get the transaction reversed. I don't think my dish is ever going to arrive.
 
In my experience, ordering stuff from Germany, the German leg happens in quick time and the brakes are thrown on when the package hits England.

I would wait a few more days, if I were you.
 
For the life of me, I can't understand HM Sat not sending a tracking number....but as Tivu says, it's probably the UK end...
 
My last such order was Couriered on the first leg then transferred to Parcel Farce for the last.
 
Finally heard from HM-Sat. Got a tracking order. Tracking started today. Still not happy but at least it looks like things are moving along. Seems the threat of them losing money has got them off their backsides. Won't be using them again.
 
UPS say it will be delivered by the end of 2nd February. 15 days?
 
Or, more optimistically, in three days time ;)
 
It will have been 15 days from when I placed the order. Its taken them 11 days to call UPS to pick up my order. If the dish was out of stock, they should have told me.

is it possible they batch up deliveries to the more obscure reaches of Europe? :) Maybe they were waiting to send a couple of UK/ROI orders at the same time.
 
When I placed the order there was nothing about it being out of stock.
 
Finally got the dish. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday but the numpties at HM-Sat hadn't bothered to put my full address on the parcel. Plus when I opened up the package all the screws and bolts were loose. Hope bits haven't gone walkabout.

Overall the service from HM Sat has been terrible and shocking.

Sent a complaint by email and asking for a refund of 25 euros. I live in hope though but I think its the least they can do. I mean 16 days from ordering to delivery is shocking don't you think?

Guys, c'mon, this is a french product... 8)

To be honest, the Visiosat brackets are usually hot dip galvanised, which is more than can be said about the (old) channel master polar mounts!
Don't really understand why they skimp on the nuts and bolts - hardly the most expensive part of the kit...
