Vivacom 13e

Ive made a start on the map link is here

Code:

Map legend is this:

up to 1m --> green
1m - 1.49m --> blue
1.5 - 1.99m --> yellow
2m - 2.49m --> purple

a star on the pin means no reception
a tick means good or marginal reception.

Ive made a guess as to locations within a country where no town is specified - if you want the pin moved make a note :)
Great stuff!

If you want a more precise position you can move the pin for Southern Sweden to 58,3 N and 15,1 E (near Motala).
I tried to putting it there using KingOfSat but it was impossible using their map.

Lenson 1m / Fontainebleau (France) = without receiving

Id say the only hope in the UK is East Anglia / Kent with a 1.2m dish or bigger. Anyone on the forum in that sort of area got a report?

The Vivacom transmissions on the Balkans / SE beam of Hotbird 13F please moonbase.

Cheers - there are no successful reports from the UK yet so your info will be interesting.

Aaaaargh, Promax Ranger went tits up on me when setting up the 2.0m dish.
Got the 2.0m approximately on 13.0E, pressed a button on the Promax to power it down and lost the screen output.

I need to get back to the 2.0m after I have sorted out the Promax.

I checked with a 1.5m dish for the frequencies and not a glimmer from 'ere in Surrey, UK

Very interesting..... Theres no signal either in Berlin for City TV BG on 13e - Ive asked my German friend to check.

But a german forum says Munich DE is receivable???? They can watch City TV BG FTA on 13e with a 75cm dish.

Great work everyone!!!!

No reports from around Berlin yet but succesful reception has been reported near Nuremburg with a 1.2m & in Zlin (Czechia) with an 85cm so it may be possible.

We really could do with a few more reports from the area around Germany, Austria, Poland Slovakia & Czechia so if anyone knows satellite hobbyists in those areas please ask them :)

Map link for anyone who has missed it

Map legend is this:

below 50cm --> red
50cm to 1m --> green
1m - 1.49m --> blue
1.5 - 1.99m --> yellow
2m - 2.49m --> purple

a star on the pin means no reception
a diamond means marginal or unstable reception
a tick means good reception

It would have been better to specify the frequency rather than the provider so we know what we are looking for.
Nova and/or Vivacom are fine in my area, northwest Romania, with a strong signal.
Only on 12539 H, I couldn't find it because I don't know the parameters.

I shall move the Novelsat posts to the other thread as they are a bit off topic for our posts about Vivacom reception.

EDIT - now done A/S

@satesco what size dish are you using please? I'll add it to the map.

I got the spectrum/signal at 13.0E posted above with the 1.10m antenna and IBU lnb,(but I also got a signal with the T90 toroidal antenna.)

Went outside with the tiny caravan dish yesterday to see what the signal was like from 13e in Burgas, Bulgaria.

As you can see, the Bulgarian TPs are very strong vs the regular 13e which barely locks on a dish this size in this area. It's obvious the beam is designed for smaller dish DTH reception

But why would a Bulgarian consumer not go, what, 20cm bigger with their dish(?) and get all the FTA channels at 13 EAST
