DM800 HD, DM500, Ubuntu 10.04 Machine. Thinkpad running Windows 7.

Hi Experts,

I have installed the VLC plug in on my DM800 (GP2), i've setup the web interface on my PC.

When I connect to the VLC server (my PC) I can see the list of files on my D:\, but when I select a.vob file or an .avi file, the player comes up but no image or sound.

Anyone who can point me in the right direction?

I also have a problem with VLC plugin on DM800 Nabilosat Dark Star II 0.12.
I have the server connection to my PC and can see the folder listing. If I select an avi or vob the DM800 crashes.
Any idea's

seems that there are no codecs installed on the image to support avi or vob, cant find these gstreamer codecs on downloads server , so heres what i do !! Mount the pc to DM800 cifs i then convert my files to MP4 using a proggy i have posted in the tools section called handbrake. -http://handbrake.fr/ this converts your files in no time , then play files through media player works a treat.
