My Christmas present to you: the new "VMA Enigma2 Client".

This FREE tool allows to quickly watch/listen any TV or Radio service from an Enigma2 receiver on a Windows 10/11 (64 bit) computer:

The software requires no configuration at all. Just insert the receiver's IP and press LOAD BOUQUETS. This will retrieve all user configured bouquets into a tree view.

Click on any TV or Radio service and it will be demodulated in the integrated LibVLC panel.

Press F11 to toggle Full-Screen Mode.

The URL text box shows the link to this service, which can be useful to program other applications like VMA Mosaic.

Basically, I was tired of having to constantly download *.m3u files from my Enigma2 receiver and open them in VLC.

This tool is much faster and nicer to use, I think.

My antivirus ( McAfee) blocks the installation. What could be a solution for this issue. Thank you.

for me i test it on W7-64 : no pb to install
But only tuner B (TNT) gives me sound + vision
on tuner A (Sat) black screen no sound !!
 
another small problem :
my IP adress is 192.168.1.25
when i put 192.168.1.25 i got an error window

i seen when the firmware start there is 92.1.xx.xx in adresse zone so
i put 92.168.1.25 and it s work !!!!!

i test the new version now :
always on W7-64 (is it ok ?) or do i use W10 ?
works on TNT channels but black screen on sat channels ???

SF8008 gold or sf8008 basic , all combo .
 
Hello.
I don't use Windows 7, 8 or 10. These versions are no longer supported by Microsoft. But it is easy for you to test. Just run the executable.
If some channels remain black they are either not supported by LibVLC/VLC or your computer is not able to handle them due to lacking HW decoder.
The other reason is that the receiver uses old outdated settings, the channels are encrypted or something else.
I cannot help with this.
My software does the equivalent as downloading the *.m3u and starting VLC. Try this manually to see if it works.

for all guys (like me) who haven t understand ...
vma enigma client and wma enigma client pro works perfectly if enigma2 receiver is in stand by , if it s on you can t select another transponder .
 
That is correct and standard behaviour of the receiver: if switched on, the tuner cannot serve a OpenWebIF request. If you have multiple tuners, you might get it work if you select compatible channels, but the Pro version does switch the receiver on/standby for the signal meter function. So best practice is to start with the receiver in standby.
