Just scanned that transponder after seeing your post. VTV comes up as encrypted in cr*pt*w*rks but clear picture & sound.

Yes you're right Parky. It shows a Philips CA descriptor (Cryptoworks). It'll go encrypted soon no doubt.

Possibly not - theres three or four channels on 16E flagged as CW but transmitted fta.
