The editing options aren't the best, it's easier to copy the recordings to your PC, using Filezilla, and edit them there.
This way you can also copy them to a DVD disk, if wanted.
A friend does it from the receiver, it is a plugin that is installed and I commented that it works very well, I also had VU+DUO2.
Tonight I ask you if you remember the name.
The last years with openspa, now with VU+Ultimo4K .
I agree with Mickha. Download ts files to your PC and edit.
The VU+ editting plugins can corrupt your files and therefore you are advised to keep the original file as well as the editted file.
Recently I found a fantastic software tool that enables editing the *.ts files
It also has tools to mark commercial breaks in several options and of course cut any unwanted parts without losing any of the file ingredients. (Video, audio channels, subtitles both DVB and TTX)
It is called TSDoctor 2.0 (Sypheros) you can download the 30 days evaluation without any restrictions.
Worth every penny.
Also has a lot more features just amazing.
