I have VU+ SOLO SE V2 for about a year.
I received another similar receiver with a single tuner today and I am setting it up for a relative.
My problem now is that the same remote will activate both receivers so I need to change the system remote code for one of them.
In the VU+ Universal Remote manual, it says:

6. System Code Change.

The default system code is Mode 2.

Mode 1 : SOLO / DUO
Mode 2 : UNO
Mode 3 & 4 : reserved for future models.

Press <<2 + 7>>, <HELP>, <0001 or 0002 or 0003 or 0004>

1. Press 2 and 7 for three seconds until LED is on.
2. Press HELP
3. Press <0001 or 0002 or 0003 or 0004>

I tried to change the code to mode 1 or mode 3 but then the remote doesn't control my receiver, so I changed back to the default mode 2.

Is there something that I didn't do right?

It looks like the VU+ remote is a generic device that operates multiple receivers, but will not work on more than one type.

Can the receiver command mode be changed as per Technomates ?

You are absolutely right.
Sorry I am not familiar with the Technomates.
I had to power off my receiver in order to setup the new receiver.

.
If it can work for several devices.
Apart from changing the knob, you must first change the setting of the knob on the tuner.
Menu ==> System => At the end you have => Code of remote control.
When entering it will be in 2, put 1, give to save (green), paired the information that you comment to make the change in the remote control.
If the change is correct in the control, giving OK is saved the configuration, if it does not work in 60 seconds, the modification is canceled.
-----------------

You will have a control for receiver 1 and another control for receiver 2.
Tendras un mando para el receptor 1 y otro mando para el receptor 2.

It didn't work with my receivers.
A los demas nos funciona con../The others work with us ..
VU+Zero
VU+Solo2
VU+DUO2
VU+Solo4K
Da la impresion que algo haces mal/Give the impression that something is wrong.

PS:Also use options 3 and 4 in one of the VU+zero and it works perfectly.

PD:Utilice tambien las opciones 3 y 4 en uno de los VU+zero y funciona prefectamente.
