whilst browsing some other forums, I came across the mention of a vu+ solo but not much information on it.

does any one have a link to some specifications and price ?

I guess it will be similar to dm500/800 or same chip set of vu+ duo but only 1 tuner ?

not sure if I want the vu+ duo or just something like a dm800 to play around with, as I have been put off linux receivers but I'm tempted again.
 
Most sites where they list a price they are about 100 GBP cheaper than the Duo. All pre-order though.

Be even more tempting if this box had hardware blind scan. But I guess that's asking too much.

The DM500 HD looks a better buy for around the same money.
 
A friend of mine bought one of these. Nice boxes. Look and respond very well. But for the sake of 100 quid I'd always go for the VU+ Duo
 
what the verdict on these then ? they have been out for a little while. I'm still in too minds whether to get one of these or a dm500 hd or just get the vu+ duo as seen it for 375.

anyone with both that can compare the tuners are they good as i was told the dm tuners in the boxes are not as good.
