The VU+ Ultimo 4K is already available and it is packed with lots of features.
VU Plus
It is large enough to accommodate a 2.5" or 3" Internal HDD and expect it to stay cool even on a hot day.
There is no English manual yet, but you can download the German manual from this link
http://vuplus.de/downloads/Ultimo4k_Handbuch.pdf
http://vuplus.de/downloads/Datenblatt_Vu+_Ultimo_4K_V3_05-16.pdf
Entry level with only one twin FBC tuner costs Euro 549 from Amazon Germany
With dual twin FBC tuner it costs Euro 629
Other configurations are also available.
Here are some useful video clips

Its a great box, very fast and very stable.
My only gripe is very little is broadcast in 4k and I doubt we will ever see very much that we can watch FTA in 4K

Thanks. I was going to buy one but the money went to unexpected plumbing job unfortunately.
Perhaps I will order one in few weeks time.
Does a 4K channel show anything on a non 4K TV or you must have a 4K TV?

No it works just fine on a normal 1080 HD TV you just can not view 2160 but that really is not a problem when you consider what there is to watch.

A dual tuner FCB are 8 tuner, if you add the DTT tuner double normal, the equipment is very complete.
You can watch and record up to 8 satellite, up to 16 channels in total ($), plus 2 mux of DTT if you have the tuner.
When supporting discs of 3'5 "it is very cheap to put a disc of 3TB or bigger (but expensive clear).

A photo of a friend, before with VU + DUO2, 4 tuner SAT + 2 TDT and 3TB HDD.

Think I will stick with the Duo 2. Being able to record 16 channels at once from 4 transponders is enough and I don't think I will ever see a point in 4k.
