vx multi prog& windows xp

Hi
Is anyone aware of any conflict between the vx multi programmer and windows xp.My friend has just bought a vx and he runs Windows xp.Neither he.nor I can get it to work,It keeps saying it's a faulty card or a faulty code .But I can programme the same card with the same code on my Elvis,so the fault must something else.We are both wondering if there could be a conflict with XP.Can anyone help?

Which version of the software is he using with XP, 2.02 ia supposed to be OK.

I don't know what version he's running,But he's taken the vx multi back to the shop today and they have confirmed that it isn't compatible with his windows xp and have change it for a different Programmer,which due to his work he has'nt tried yet ,so her's hoping it's OK.Thanks for the reply
