Wall mounting a 150cm Gibertini

Given the fact that it looks like I will be on the edge of reception for Astra 2F in Frankfurt. struggling with test on 2F with 80cm Kathrein. I am now looking at the options for having a larger dish ie the Gib 150 to ensure reception. Ideal for me would be to wall mount it but would this be possible??? Only wall mounts Ive found on google are the Baird mounts from USA which are v v expensive. Thoughts????
 
Hold fire until you get a final picture on signal strengths etc? You might be able to get away with smaller :) Or you might just be looking for an excuse to put in a massive dish.... (I can understand that!)

Check out the wall mount on this page. Famaval 80mm tube wall mount (Gibertini will take up to 100mm). It will easily carry a Gibertini 150, and would be fine for a non-motorised install. Should be around 50€.

Thanks Huevos makes a change to read a really useful post these days. At the mo the SNR for 2F test lies between 46-56 (worse late afternoon early evening til about 8pm local time) on my VU+. No db figs on VU so guess I am on limit. 150 may be too big or 120 may suffice in North east Frankfurt- dunno. The wall stand would be ok for an exposed south facing wall wouldnt it??

As long as the wall is sound, yes. BTW, there's nothing worse than forking out on a dish that is not big enough. 1.5m should give you a bit of headroom in bad weather.
 
Like Welshman I could be doing the same (I am North of Munich with a 1 metre that no longer picks up 2F since Sunday).
Question, I have seen conflicting comments about the Gilbertini 150 dish regarding roof or wall mount. Can you safely do either, my wife would kill me unless its on the roof!
 
I have seen a Gibby 150cm mounted on a side of a house in London - it looked HUGE. So, yeah, it can go there but make sure it's well supported.

What sort of roof is it, and how would you attach it? By the way don't forget this doesn't have to be attached to the house at all. Mine is out in the garden and most people don't notice it, or the 1.8m. Makes for easy adjustment too.

In my case it has to be on the roof!!
I currrently have 2 dishes on the same pole (a 1 metre for 28.2E and a 60cm for 19.2E). The pole is a professional mast that is firmly attached inside my loft to a main beam, so is not going to move or swing.
So my plan would be to replace the 1 metre with a new Gibertini either 1.25 or 1.5 depending on 2F signals.
