I have a 85cm Faval Dish with 0.2 titanium lnb and alsat dark motor running off of a Technomate 1500 Ci Super
My Location
Bucks
I have a tv that works off of an aerial socket and that aerial is fed by a sky box. I have a second tv that I want to run off same aerial socket so I can get sky feed is there an easy way to do this ?

When did you buy your Sky Box and which (numerical - DRX???? - it's probably on the rear panel or the base) version do you have, - because that can make a BIG difference on how you can connect to more than 1 tv,?
 
If I read it correctly, and you are feeding a TV via RF2 output then an IR compatible distribution amplifier required subject to the box being a few years old.

probably If the Sky Box is that "old" then, as satelliteman said, you will have both the main RF1 o/p, and that should be feeding the 1st TV, and RF2 can be used to feed the 2nd one (that's part of the reason it is there) - so, easy way, just run a cable from RF2 to the 2nd TV.

If, however, you have to run both TVs from the same wall outlet, then a simple passive antenna splitter would do the trick if all the cable lengths are not too great - both TVs will get the same signal, with the Sky box still being controlled directly by your original Sky remote.

Nevertheless, if you want to use the facility whereby the Sky box can be remotely controlled by a 2nd Sky remote associated with the 2nd TV, then you need one of those small distribution amps which pass the IR signal from the 2nd remote back to the Sky box via RF2 - the first amps came from Global Communications, but I think there are clones now, and you also need a "TV-link"-type IR receiver and "eye" near the second TV to pick up the signals from the 2nd remote and send them back, via the amp, to RF2.

OTOH, if your Sky box is one of the latest ones, which given its age I doubt, then those only have one RF outlet, and there is an entirely different system for adding feeds to extra TVs - can't help with those as I don't have one of those boxes, but I am sure others will be able to.

Wrong - latest Sky HD boxes do not hve any RF ports - internal RF modulation has been dropped and replaced by internal WiFi. There is however an I/O socket to which can be connected an I/O box which has RF input (for pass through) and RF1 and RF2 outputs that function in exactly the same way as on earlier boxes.

Sorry about my error about the latest Sky boxes - as I said, I only have the older versions. However, given that the OP's post #4 says that his box is about 3 yrs old, I think that this point is not relevant to his original question. OTOH, as he has not said anything further in the last 24 hrs, I wonder if he is still interested in the possible answers?
 
Yes, buy an I/O module, Triax is the best one, as it has both RF1 and RF2 so you can still watch terrestrial on your main TV. You will need to go into the installers menu to set it up and reboot the box.

PS. Sky HD boxes haven't had RF incorporated for more than 3 years.
 
I have just found out that there is a booster in the other room which is connected to sky box HD surely if I run some cable from booster to new tv then tune in this should work ?

You say that a "booster" is already attached to your Skybox - but into which connector on that box is it plugged (and does the booster have more than the one output connector already connected to "something" else )?

Bought my 895 direct from Sky in Jan 2013 and that does have RF1 & RF2, so it's not much over 3yrs since they phased out those connectors/circuits.
 
If the o/p eventually posts the make and model of the box installed, most of the above comments can be moderated.
 
Sky box is linked to booster surely if I connect to booster to new tv and tune in on new will get signal

Should do, you need to make sure that you tune both digital and analogue and make sure the Sky digibox is turned on when you do it.
