Wanted Wanted 90-100 prime focus dish

What did you use before ?

Origin /country and/or model number / age

Please yes I’d like this but comes down to price as I’ve no idea of where to find parts to make this work

If you are able to find a dish that comes with some type of motorisation included I think that would probably be your best option.

As you have expressed a preference for a prime focus dish you are limited in your choice.
If you were to consider an offset dish then there is lots of choice and at reasonably low cost.

To get the Precision 1.2m dish I have here onto a DiSEqC motor would need some type of adapter plate making that could accept a pole clamp.
The pole clamp part could then be used to secure the setup to the rotational part of the DiSEqC motor.

Thanks for reply I’m looking to use a polar mount with jack actuator I’d probably use an old receiver with built in positioner that has mechanical polarisation just in case
So if you have what I’m looking for that would be great

I'll check the shed, there just might be a prime focus dish slightly smaller than a 90 in there , but not by much.

What are you trying to catch with it ? Standard Ku or something else ?

Ah, scrub that . Southampton is quite a distance.

Unfortunately I do not have anything that would be capable of securing the 1.2m Precision dish onto a DiSEqC motor.
Some type of adapter would need to be fabricated.

I mentioned it as a possible option in the absence of having a polar mount or some other means of motorisation.

Only looking to start ku-band at the moment thanks
Happy to pay postage/courier
Any pics not too bothered under 90 I’ve got to start somewhere
Can anyone help me ?

I'm going to the shed later this week (I'm nowhere near the house currently)

I did clock the trac90 comment earlier, I may have one of those.

A polar mount Precision reflector is your preferred dish ?

I had a 90cm and 1.2m Precision dishes a few years ago that I basically gave away. Kept the PM that drove the 1.2m that currently manages my 1.8m Channel Master.

Good luck with the precision quest, if you decide to go channelmaster give me a shout i'm not far from you i have spare 1m and 1.2m dishes.

The Precision polar mounts were the best I have ever seen.
I assume anything from Elite Antennas would have been the same build quality.

You have not used a Mk2 IRTE polarmount then.
