Watan Afghanistan - Chinasat 12 @ 87.5° East

Yes, the signal drops for me too. But I only have about 1° elevation.

sure there can be a small decrease in the signal, but going from 13 db of MER to zero signal
this is very strange

Today, with better weather, the signal has gotten even better. It doesn't fluctuate so much anymore and is currently running consistently without any failures.

cause of the low alevetion, the signal needs to pass through much more kilometers of atmosphere (clouds, humidity, dust, ionization etc)
In my area I have the same "symptoms" with 100.5E

The signal has indeed reached the same level as when I discovered it in 2022 on this satellite.
On this occasion, I watched an interesting documentary on SRT News about the galaxy, the universe.

Wantan HD is also doing very well today at 2.20m. I thought the leaves would have shaded the antenna a bit, but I'm very satisfied.

for my position this satellite behaves very strangely, sometimes it is very strong while sometimes I have no signal, within a few seconds the signal goes to maximum no lock
Same here in Croatia with 110 cm dish...From 0.8 db to 3.4 db in short period of time and then no lock again!

12550 H 5000 DVBS2/QPSK 2/3 Test is active
It appears that Wantan HD has left the satellite. Can you confirm this?
Here are the muxes that are coming in at this position in my area. Thanks.

I searched at 87.5E with IQmonitor, and as usual, the app found new muxes and parameters I'm not sure about.
