Just found this posted on another forum I visit and apparently this does work, not that I`d have the balls to get that close to a live AM/MW TX site haha

Thats bonkers! And bllody dangerous if the base of the tower is pumping out that much live voltage!

Saw this one a while ago. The discussions about it were vast. People were arguing whether it was an am or fm mast. Then others were saying it was fake and impossible. It was quite funny reading what they had to say :D

if this were a real transmitting radio tower then they were close to the Darwin awards section.
And I would not be surprised if they got cancer later in life if they spend too much time there...

They were definitely Darwin candidates. I'm guess there's a few kv running between the insulator.
