What extra channels are there ?

Hiya

I hear that there are extra channels to be had on a Sky system.

Did i Hear correct and if i did, what are they ?

Free to view ones I mean just incase you didn't know

No extra channels as such. All the ITV regions are available, plus a handful of channels testing. Details of whats available on the test front in the two stickies at the top of this section of the forum

Thought i heard you can get the odd foreign channel, but it would seem not.

Hi paulwilko.

Take a look at http://www.flysat.com/ebird1-astra28.php to see what is available from the cluster of satellites at 28east.
You will not get the "foreign" channels (top end of the frerquency band) with your $ly dodgybox, wrong SR, but available with a "normal " satellite receiver. You might not get them either with a minidish, not sure though.
